In the number of estimated injuries per 1,000 participants, paintball had the LEAST NUMBER OF INJURIES of all the listed sports. The number of injuries for paintball is less by far than bowling, tennis, archery, basketball, and many other sports.

NEISS - The National Injury Information Clearinghouse of the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in Washington D. C. has provided injury estimates through use of the National Electronic Injury Surveillance System.

Paintball on television starting October 2nd

After selecting 9 players to ghost with cameras and sound crews, Xtreme Paintball: Beyond the Paint is ready to show a day in the life of some of the top professional players in the paintball industry. Scheduled to run with thirteen shows, the latest paintball television adventure is beginning this week.
Featuring faces from teams like Dynasty, Montreal Image, XSV, Infamous, Edmonton Impact, Bad Company and Jersey Authority, teammates and long time competitors will dish the dirt and show the other side of paintball.

The players themselves are long time veteran, Chris Lasoya, Dynasty players Alex Fraige and Ryan Greenspan, XSV's back player, Rich Telford, Canada's Josh Davey, Infamous' Travis Lemanski and LB Fow, Russian Legion's and Jersey Authority player, Alex Lundqvist, and J.C. Whittington Bad from masters of the sponsorship deal, Bad Company.

Woodsball for $ 1,000,000 first place

Real Action Paintball is proud to announce "Operation: Paintball Island," the $ 1,000,000.00 grand prize paintball tournament!

The tournament will take place on a private tropical island, with an undisturbed natural wildlife environment with raw forests, rivers and beaches surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean Operation: Paintball Island is a two-stage woodland style paintball tournament for 10 to 12 player woodsball teams.

The first phase, the qualifier stage, will take place in Mississippi, on the US mainland, during August of 2007. At least 10 qualifying games will take place around the country, to find the teams most worthy of this ultimate paintball challenge. The winning team of each qualifier game will earn $ 50,000 dollars.
