first of all i am thrilled to see that you got a new setup and went the SP. both are decent setups, i personally (as you are well aware) am not as fond of cp as i would be of evil. however i play(ed) an empire kit on my impulse that shot a decent grouping and was very reasonably priced for the quality i got.

i dont like the idea of inserts. there is more room for error (breaking them) and the whole thing looks kinda corny. i have seen references to the apex. it looks cool but i would like to see exactly how it works

there is also the newer edge kit. it has longer back stages and shorter fronts, which is elegidly produces significantly increased "accuracy". ie. each ball goes were the one before it did.

as a matter of fact i may very well end up goin with the empire kit on my trix, i had been thinking about an ultralite but the empire may very well turn out to be a better idea. the barrels are very similar in make up, quality and weight, but the multiple back stages in the empire kit will give it a great paint match.... part of these systems being so similar is the tendancie of our friends at empire to spot something that they like from dye, and the steal it. (ok, steal is a mean word, so we shall say they may borrow a designe now and then...) thats the empire mo, but they do make a decent product and it cant be beat for the price.
