firstly i have never paintbaled b4....i recently attendin and interest meeting for a team here at Stockton College and instantly became excited about the whole sport. Students at the college are tryin to get an actual team at the school theres a few guys with a LOT of experience in D3 tournament paintball my friends and i however have none. We are all interested in joining the team or at least participating in the sunday rec games problem is we dont know where to start. theres 5of us and we're all broke and arent to spend too much but still want a competitve marker. I been al over atlantic county my personal limit is around 250-300$ (college gets my money)hopper tank and all. i see plenty of deals but dont even know the diff between em'. my eye is on a spyder vs1 package for 169$ comes with egrip electro.hopper mask 20oz c02 and some other neccessaires' . no no no you dont want a spyder if your goin to be playin speedball silly you can get a smarts parts ion package i think on ebay for 300$ very nice and fast gun its a n20 shooting gun and its fast there are plenty of ugrdes to do to them also good luck --------------------- im gonna kick ur ass except with paint |

I second the proto. I've seen Ions in action and they are nice, especially on a budget, but for serious speedball I'd look into spending a little extra to start with and get a proto. You have a much better base to build upon. Another suggestion is to see if you guys can borrow some gear and come out to our Sunday events. You might find that Woodsball is more to your liking before you go and spend hundreds on speddball gear... --------------------- SUCK MY BALLS!!! |

Remember the X7 comes with its own hopper for that price, otherwise add at least $80 for a power hopper to any pricetag... --------------------- SUCK MY BALLS!!! |
