What up all, Since the holiday's are fast approaching, it is time for me to remove my board shorts and flip-flops and pack on the thermals and ECWS gear (military cold weather clothes) and return to my home town to visit the family. But to go a week without playing would be like a crack addict with withdrawls, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is anywhere to play around the time of the 23rd to the 27th? I'll be in Ocean City or Somers Point most of the time visiting family and what not, but a couple of my cousins want to go play as well. I got all my own gear plus another set, but might have to rent stuff from a field or store before playing. I haven't been in Jersey in almost 4 years so I have no idea what's changed or where any fields may be. I have looked at some of the posts about various fields like joe's(haven't found directions to it yet, still looking) and chriss "something"(the one in galloway) and it seems like there isn't a really established field in that area, which I applaud all of you guys for coordinating and building places youselves that's awesome. Anyway, I hope the snow and cold weather doesn't cancel everything. Let me know what's going on. Thanks a lot in advance. --------------------- |

I have two sets of gear, one is for tournaments and the other is my old rec-ball stuff. I have an Intimidator Alias running on HPA and an original Spyder running on CO2. If I bring a 3rd or 4th player I was just trying to think of gear for them as well as paint and air refills. Is there a place to get procaps balls? I can get some here directly from the distributor, but would have to transport them in the back of my truck and what not. I would rather get it up there if it costs the same. Looking for Blaze or DXS Bronze. I pay about $45 a case. Two more questions I have are how does the cold effect the electronics on the markers? And should I consider a cold weather paint like RPS Polar Ice? --------------------- |

Cold weather should not affect your electonics, however for the paint I strongly suggest getting a thicker shell kind of paint like Polar Ice.One of the most common problem playing on a cold weather is paint breaking on the barrel.Very annoying  I also suggest using HPA than Co2.With Co2 u dont get that much shots and is very inconsistent, specially on rapid fires.If you have to use CO2 then i recommend using expansion chamber or using a remote. Hey guys, Been busy the last week getting stuff done before I head up there. Planning at tihs point to be out there on Sunday the 23rd. Just wondering if there was a place where I might be able to get an extra marker set up and mask if I bring two or more extra people? --------------------- |
